The Prader-Willi Syndrome Network provides information and resources for service providers who work with individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and their families.
Our goal is to support excellent services by sharing information about best practices, educational resources, service systems and even research opportunities.
Our philosophy: People with Prader-Willi Syndrome have the right to live as fully participating members of our community. They also have the right to experience the best possible physical and mental health. Given their unique genetic condition, the concepts of client rights and least restrictive environments must be re-interpreted to control and restrict access to food for people with PWS. This promotes a good quality of life for these individuals.
